LOGOS

The BB process begins with a question: what’s the wild card? We look everywhere to bring a fresh perspective to everything we do. Our ultimate goal is to create a unique roadmap for your brand, whether you’re just at the beginning or thinking about a pivot. When it comes to logo development, we start by identifying our sources of inspiration with mood imagery. Once we’ve gotten our bearings, we head into sketching out our ideas. Then, refine, refine, refine.

COLLATERAL

At BB, our approach to graphics and collateral development is to hone in on the common ground between a brand’s interior and written narratives to create a visual identity that’s truly cohesive. From re-envisioning an existing identity, to helping an emerging brand build a new identity, our process is always relies on organic evolution. For us, building a strong identity is about creating a solid foundation, one that will help a brand scale far into the future.

ENVIRONMENTS

Our interior design work is about more than just creating a space. It’s about choreographing an experience. We’re thinking about how to get people in the door, how to keep them there, and how to keep them coming back for more. The strength of our design approach is the depth and completeness of its impact on the guest. In addition, the integration of our graphic design practice with our interior design approach means an experience that is fully baked and totally immersive.

CASE STUDY: TOMMIE

We partnered with the boutique hotel virtuosos at Commune Hotels & Resorts to bring you tommie, a lifestyle hotel concept for a new generation of travelers. Together, we re-thought the hotel as a living forum for a cultural & curious audience, emphasizing public spaces while creating a guest experience tailored to a crowd that wants to author their own experience. This project was a soup-to-nuts process, including interior design & construction of tommie’s first two locations, and the development of the master brand.

CASE STUDY: CARLA HALL

When we heard that Emmy winning TV host and star caterer Carla Hall was looking to create a new Nashville-style Hot Chicken joint right in our hometown, we jumped at the chance to be a part of the team. For this project we worked together to create the interiors and brand assets--from logo to brand language--for a scalable fast-casual dining concept in NYC. Mirroring the brand’s guest experience and service style, our design and identity work was guided by the southern saying “Do drop in!”

CASE STUDY: CRAVE

When Crave Cupcakes first launched in 2008, we worked with the team to develop an identity and concept for a refined but approachable cupcake brand. Three Texas locations later, they’ve expanded into coffee with Crave Coffee, and turned to us to help them adapt their concept to fully integrate their extended enterprise. We helped create a new visual identity and interior aesthetic around their growing coffee enterprise.
